Has been a reinsurance property underwriter for Arch Reinsurance and before that for F&G/St. Paul Re for the better part of the last 10 years. Before that, worked as a broker and in the back office for three years for EW Blanch.

 

 

 

Haas Chaudhry, Director

 

Education: University of Pennsylvania, 1996

Designations: ARe, 2006; Successfully completed RMS’ CCRA program, 2006

 

Started out career as a Derivatives Trader at the American Stock Exchange followed by a few years in the Information Technology field. Most recently has worked at Arch Reinsurance as Cat Modeler and Underwriting Analyst for the U.S. Property Department.

Martha Atwater, Director

 

Education: Hanover College, 1984

Designations: ARe, 1997, CPCU 1993

 

Fifteen year reinsurance career started with time in accounting, property, non-traditional, international, and Casualty Clash for F&G Re and St Paul Re.  With Peter Dodge, helped build one of the best-performing Clash and Workers Comp Cat books in the Reinsurance Industry.

Over 4 years of industry experience as a underwriter with a primary focus on Professional Liability for publicly traded companies. Began career as a underwriting apprentice at HRH. Relocated to New York, NY in 2006 to serve as a Professional Liability underwriter within the U.S. Specialty Lines Division of CNA Financial Corporation with a focus on MPL, Technology, Network Security/Privacy, and Media Liability business.
